PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This long wool coat comes with its own scarf, cut from the same fabric and finished with fringe at both ends. Every edge, from the neckline and front to the cuffs, hem, and scarf, is outlined in a decorative blanket stitch that gives it a handcrafted, heirloom look. The pure wool is soft, lofty, and warm. The straight, roomy cut drapes over knits, and side slits let it move easily as you walk. Loop the scarf high and wear it with a pleated midi skirt and lace-up flats, or leave the scarf off and wear the coat open over a turtleneck.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
*Professional dry cleaning is recommended. Ask for a wool-safe cleaning solution, and clean the scarf along with the coat so the colors stay matched.
*If hand washing, keep the water below 104°F and use a wool detergent. A splash of white vinegar in the water helps the fabric keep its color and finish.
*Never scrub, rub, or use a washboard, which can flatten the bouclé and pull the stitched edges. If machine washing, use only a short, gentle wool cycle so the wool doesn't felt or shrink.
*Don't wring or twist, and avoid spin-drying. Gently press out excess water instead.
*Lay flat to dry in a cool, well-ventilated spot, reshaping the edges and smoothing the scarf fringe by hand. Never dry in direct sunlight.
*Do not tumble dry.
*Steam to release creases instead of ironing directly on the wool.
*Remove light pilling with a fabric shaver, and trim any loose threads on the stitched edges with scissors rather than pulling them.
*Store on a wide hanger in a breathable garment bag with cedar to protect against moths.
