PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Picture your softest comforter, then cut it into a coat that falls almost to your ankles. An oversized padded collar folds over like a pillow, so you can tuck your chin in on cold mornings. The crinkled black cotton has a matte, lived-in finish, and the down inside makes it feel enveloping without stiffness. Wrap it with the rope belt over a crisp white shirt and black trousers, or leave it open over a long knit dress and tall boots.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
*Hand wash or machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, with the belt removed and the magnetic closure fastened.
*Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Dissolve it fully in the water first, and never pour it directly onto the cotton, which can cause patchy fading.
*Keep the wash short and don't soak for long, so the black stays even.
*Don't scrub or wring, which can misshape the coat. Gently press out excess water instead.
*Wash separately, because black cotton may release dye.
*Do not bleach or use fabric softener.
*Air dry flat or on a wide hanger in a shaded, well-ventilated spot. Never dry in direct sunlight, which can fade the black.
*Once dry, pat and shake the coat to restore the down's loft. You can also tumble dry on low heat with two or three clean dryer balls.
*Do not iron. The crinkled texture is part of the fabric's character.
*Make sure the coat is completely dry before storing, and keep it loosely hung or folded, not compressed.
