*If hand washing, use water below 86°F with a wool or cashmere detergent — soak 5–10 minutes, press gently without rubbing, and rinse until no suds remain.
*Do not use regular laundry detergent, bar soap, bleach, or fabric softener.
*Do not wring or tumble dry — blot with a dry towel, then dry flat in a shaded, well-ventilated spot.
*Steam-iron on low through a damp cloth; avoid high heat.
*Remove pilling with a fabric shaver on a low setting (never scissors), and store fully dry in a dust bag with moth protection.
