Dense, curly wool in a soft taupe-gray makes this jacket feel like a hug you can button. A sweeping curved front, edged in cocoa-brown sheepskin piping, gives the plush texture a clean, graphic outline. The pile is thick and springy but not heavy, and the straight cut leaves room for a fine knit underneath. Wear it with pleated charcoal trousers and black leather gloves, or throw a chunky knit wrap over the shoulders on colder days.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
*Professional dry cleaning is recommended. Choose a cleaner experienced with wool pile and leather trim.
*If hand washing, keep the water below 104°F and use a wool detergent. A splash of white vinegar in the water helps keep the color fresh.
*Keep the sheepskin piping and button tabs out of the water where you can. Wipe them with a barely damp cloth instead, because soaking can stiffen or darken leather.
*Never scrub, rub, or use a washboard. If you machine wash, use only a short, gentle wool cycle so the wool doesn't felt or shrink.
*Don't wring or twist, and avoid spin-drying. Gently press out excess water instead.
*Lay flat to dry in a cool, well-ventilated spot. Never dry in direct sunlight, which can dry out and crack the sheepskin.
*Do not tumble dry or iron.
*Once dry, fluff the curls gently with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to restore their loft.
*Condition the sheepskin trim occasionally with a small amount of leather conditioner to keep it supple.
*Store on a wide hanger in a breathable garment bag with cedar to protect against moths.
